What inspired you to work at Lantz Financial and when did you join the team?
I am new to Lantz Financial this year, but have known both Mike & Dayna for over 20 years, starting back when we worked together at the Lisle Branch of A.G.Edwards & Sons in 2001. I have always respected their honesty, integrity, work ethic and “clients first” mentality. I am really looking forward to being a part of this new chapter with them, and all of the incredible Lantz Team members who hold tight to the same values.
What is your background including any unique skills or characteristics that you want to share?
I began my career on the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade in 1988. In 1992, I worked on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and obtained my Series 7 General Securities Registration while working at a private investment banking firm. In 1993, I joined A.G. Edwards and became a Financial Advisor/Trust Specialist and focused on Estate Planning.
What are one or two things you do for clients on a day to day basis?
Listen. Everything starts there. It’s how to best understand people’s needs, wants & challenges. I have a gift for explaining things that are initially perceived as overwhelming to people, in a way that is uncomplicated and understandable. I’m also very resourceful and persistent about helping clients create solutions for the issues they are facing.
Outside of the office, what would someone find interesting about you?
I’m an old soul and enjoy gardening, knitting, cooking & home projects; most of which usually end up as some type of gift to family, friends, and neighbors.
Is there anything personal you wish to share?
My faith and family are the most cherished things to me. I love spending time with my husband and our two daughters, as well as being involved in our church family.
