As the kids go back to school, we thought now would be a good time for a few online safety tips.

Here are three tips for you to stay safe.

1. Personal information, like pet’s names, hobbies, and vacations, shared on social media can be used by criminals to commit fraud. Make sure your sharing options are set to friends and only accept friend requests from people you know.

2. Artificial intelligence is in the news and can be useful in certain circumstances, but there are concerns. Privacy is one, anything you put in this technology is not protected. Also, AI has given wrong answers because it uses information from the internet to provide answers and as we all know, not everything on the internet is true.

3. Remember when you are online, anything you click on is being tracked. This includes websites, blogs, and any links you have been texted or emailed. Be cautious before clicking on anything.
